The Canadian Security & Intelligence Service [CSIS] has made a request to the court in Montreal to deport the Russian spy who was apprehended at Pierre Elliot Trudeau airport last week by Border Security Officers. The spy goes by the name of “Paul William Hampel” who has ‘operated’ in Canada for over a decade.

When the Border Security Officers apprehended “Paul”, they discovered $7,800 in mix currencies, several cell phones and a shortwave radio on his person. CSIS has labeled “Mr. Hampel” has a major risk to Canadian national security. It is known that “Paul” has carried out operations in Canada and abroad. CSIS has filed a report to the federal courts that his missions could possibly be espionage due to the Russian Federations’ failing economy.

I do not think we should deport foreign spies to their country of origin. They should be imprisoned in maximum security detention centre in solitary confinement indefinitely.
