Saskboy for Parliament . . .
I believe that Saskboy from Abandoned Stuff should run for nomination to run for the Green Party in the upcoming election for two reasons; 1) he’s constantly proven himself that he’s knowledgeable on the issues that Canadians face & 2) he can represent the people of Saskatchewan and promote the issues that are important to them. He takes great pride in helping others and honestly, even as a Liberal, I’d like him in the House of Commons as the next MP in the Green Caucus for Wascanna Centre or Yorktown-Melville. So Saskboy, you better run. I’m counting on you.

No.
Saskboy still has a role to play before he becomes a Green MP.
He promised me he will try to persuade Janice MacKinnon to run as the Liberals in the next election.
Other than that, he does not have my permission to run for the Green Party.

I don’t know Saskboy’s views, but he certainly seems to have some good qualities for a candidate. From my brief contact at Progblog, Saskboy seems to me very gracious, diplomatic, thoughtful, good at mediation and team building, humble yet willing to speak directly when it is needed - and genuinely good-hearted. Seems like some good traits for a candidate, I’d say.

Yorkton needs a new MP, but the old farts here are not going to vote anything but Conservative, so I’d have to win that nomination to even have a chance.
Beating Goodale wouldn’t be high on my list of things to do either, but I do intend to run a few elections down the road. At the pace we’ve been having them though, I’d have to revise my estimate of 3 more elections up to 5 though.

Mushroom, right after I get ol’ Romanow to run for the Marijuana Party.

MacKinnon for the Liberals isn’t that far fetched. Think Chris Axworthy, she’s the same breed of provincial Dipper as he is.
Cheers,

Mushroom, I apologize however he has new responsibilities he has to take seriously if he wants to take on those old hooligans and their brute conservatism. I don’t think you have the clout to deny Saskboy the taste of victory!
J. Todd Ring, Saskboy is left of left of centre. Brilliantly smart and won’t overspend public funds on Subway, expensive champagne and lure twelve year old children to contribute to his campaign.
Saskboy, stop your moping and get in the paperwork!
Lance, who cares? Saskboy is the only one worth running! GO SASKBOY!

Anth, if I’m to take direction from my party’s leader, it would make sense for me to not run at this time and improve the chances of a Liberal looking to beat a Conservative or NDP in the coming election. In future elections, when the Green profile is higher, it will make more sense for me to run for that party, and stand a ghost of a chance of winning.

Saskboy, the New Democrats are worth of your energy Mister, now campaigning for the Liberals. I can see that happening, just remember to employ my services as your campaign manager.
