The South Korean hostages

I’m saddened about the ongoing hostage situation in Afghanistan. The Taliban are responsible for the kidnapping of twenty-three South Korean Christian humanitarians.

This week Taliban militants stepped out of the playing field by murdering two of their South Korean hostages. This is gruesome atrocity that has become a rampant nightmare throughout the Middle-East following President George W. Bush’s War on Terror that has caused a global catastrophe.

I would like to offer my sincerest condolences to the families of the South Korean aid-workers.

The question needs to be asked Why were these Christian missionariees in Afghanistan knowing how vulnerable they would be.

Margaret Bedpre, I understand where you’re coming from. However, I believe the South Korean missionaries had the best of intentions on going to Afghanistan to provide aid support. Coalition forces have been mostly fighting Taliban militants and other insurgents whether than rebuilding local communities throughout the war torn state.
