Just letting everyone know I was able to renew my webhosting – so I will try and make some political commentary coming soon.

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas this year. In other news, I unfortunately will not be continuing my political commentary on my blog in the New Year since I cannot afford web hosting costs. I wish all the friends and enemies I have made on the blogosphere the very best in their future writings and endeavours. I am thankful for the encouragement I have received from Saskboy from Abandoned Stuff to improve my writing. Thank you bud.

If you feel I have wronged you injustice by making this announcement and feel that I need a kick in the ass. Perhaps you’re right. If you are feeling generous this holiday and feel that I contribute to our society on making biased commentary leaning towards my federal political affiliations or by rantings about the Stephen Harperbot 3000. I apologize for my disappearing act for October, I’ll be returning to blogging sometime this weekend. I would like to apologize to my ‘readers’ for suffering from Anth withdrawal.

It’s a rare appearance to discuss any level of sports here on The Anth Zone. I thought it’d be a nice thought to congratulate San Francisco Giant’s Left Fielder Barry Bond’s for reaching a career milestone in Major League Baseball with tying Hank Aaron’s 755 career home runs. At, The Anth Zone we will not discriminate against Mr. Bond’s for his illicit drug use. We congratulate you Barry.

I am going to be out of town this weekend since I am going to Sun Peaks for the Liberal Party of Canada in BC’s biennial convention where I’ll get to meet Michael Ignatieff and Gerard Kennedy, again.

Unrelated to politics, current events, humour, maintenance or oddities. I am considering about enlisting in the Canadian Forces.

Since I have been eliminated so I cannot proceed to the next round of voting, I have decided to tell you who to vote for.

Best Conservative Blog - The Prairie Wranglers.
Best Progressive Blog - Saskboy’s Abandoned Stuff.
Best Humour Blog - A tie between The Frog Lady and The Rick Mercer Report.

Yep. Vote for my favourites.

These are a few things that don’t deserve their own posts for.

• The BC Lions have picked up their fifth Grey Cup championship win in their franchise history. I am confident that most Rough Riders’ fans are discontent and outraged over the win due to their team’s defeat 45-18 during the Western final. I only caught the last two minutes of game play of the Grey Cup game, the Montreal Alouettes played a great game even almost getting a touchdown but the Lions made a nice interception and the game was called a victory in their favour. I am proud to be a British Columbian and no do not expect any commentary on sports on this blog (unless the Canucks manage to pull the strings to win the Stanley Cup) or the Houston Astros win the World Series.
• Henry Kissinger is still alive? Wow! Anyway he says that victory in the U.S. favour in Iraq is impossible. Kissinger also called on the Bush Administration to open dialogue with Iran.
• Nintendo Wii & the Playstation 3 has hit the shelves. No technical problems have been reported so far, I am pretty sure Bill Gates is kicking himself right now.
• Vancouver, Burnaby & the North Shore have a boil-water advisory enters into its fifth day after a major storm that left several hundred thousands of people in the Lower Main Land without power, 650 in Lions Bay remain in the dark. Hahaha suckers.
• Israel has canceled an air strike due to human shields. Oh, and the Deputy Prime Minister called for assassinations against top Hamas & Palestinian Authority Officials. You should have made sure Gurmant Grewal didn’t have that tape recorder.
• I support Jack Layton’s amendments to the Tories’ Clean Air Act. My new friend, Olaf doesn’t think so. Well, he hasn’t commented on it that I have been aware of.
• There is another bad storm approaching Vancouver . . . I think Floridians and the Louisianans have cursed us *grumbles*.
• A Human Rights Group based in New York City and saying his trial was unfair, “Serious administrative, procedural and substantive legal defects”. The Iraqi Government has not extradited him to the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity, nor would their new found friend in the United States permit it to happening. I do agree with, “In addition, the imposition of the death penalty — an inherently cruel and inhumane punishment”. Where should we depose of him? I mean do with him? Yeah . . .

I just want to wish everyone a safe Canada Day celebration. Please remember, to wear a lot of Canadian gear, and show your pride. Because at midnight, it’ll be all over until next year.
