I met another hero of mine last night, The Right Honourable Jean Chrétien was in town signing people’s copies of his book, Jean Chrétien: My Years As Prime Minister. I got my book signed. He’s so awesome. He’s so Chrétien.

Okay. I started a new job running deliveries for a produce transportation company today. I was on Granville Island, minding my own business. When I spotted out a recognizable figure walking down the street. IT WAS REX MURPHY! I had to confirm is identity by asking him if it was who he was. He said yes he was Rex. And I told him he was my hero (one of them). He had the biggest smile on his face. I had to make his day, because he made mine. Anyway. Later.
